The idea of split is that 2 separate devices can use the network at the same time. 2 computers connected did not work, only 1 computer work. What is now the essence of the split. Just get/buy a dedicated router if you intend to use more than 1 device at the same time. This is just an extender for 1 device not 2 at the same time.
