This RJ45 network surge protector is an inline Ethernet lightning arrester that sits between a network run and the device it protects.
It is suited to IP cameras, PoE switches, NVRs and other networked equipment that sits at the end of a long cable run, which is where induced surge tends to do damage.
The unit fits 10/100Mbps Ethernet installations and its aluminium alloy housing holds up in plant rooms, risers and outdoor enclosures.
Installation is inline on the existing cable path, so no re-termination of the network is needed.
