*Test Procedure and Test Photos
IPX8 test according to IEC 60529: 1989+A1: 1999+A2: 2013 and client's requirements.
1. Initial visual and functional check of sample.
2. Measure initial weight of the sample.
3. Perform IPX8 test as the following conditions:
• Water level: 1.5 m
• Test duration: 30 min
4. Clean the sample and place it into the oven at 45 °C for 1.5 h.
5. Measurement the weight again and check the functional of sample.
*REM (rapid eye movement) monitoring needs to be turned on in APP for high precision monitoring of sleep
*The naps of less than 3 hours of sleep duration do not show the distribution of different sleep types.
*Sleep of less than 20 minutes will not be recorded

*Typical usage mode 18-day test conditions for the Redmi Watch 5 Active: Full charge, factory default settings, heart rate monitoring every 10 minutes, high-precision sleep monitoring turned off, receiving and displaying 100 notification messages per day, setting 5 alarms per day, raising the wrist to light up the screen 200 times per day, receiving 2 incoming call notifications per day, 15 minutes of Bluetooth calls per week, 90 minutes of exercise per week, and all other settings at default.

*Heavy usage mode 12-day test conditions for the Redmi Watch 5 Active: Full charge, factory default settings, heart rate monitoring every 1 minute, high-precision sleep monitoring turned on, receiving and displaying 200 notification messages per day, setting 4 alarms per day, raising the wrist to light up the screen 200 times per day, receiving 4 incoming call notifications per day, 30 minutes of Bluetooth calls per week, 150 minutes of exercise per week, and all other settings at default.
