Introduction :

The Li-ion Battery HAT integrates SW6106 management , allows providing 5V regulated power supply to your Pi from a 14500 battery, makes the Pi becomes a portable device. It will charge the battery as well, supports a bi-directional quick charge. This module can be used as a universal mini , also works with other 5V devices.

Read it before use :

1. The battery needs to be plued into the module, the switch is turned ON, it is charged for about 1 minute and then disconnected, the module will output normally, otherwise there is no output; 2. If the battery is removed, you need to perform the operation again. 3. This module cannot be used as a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). The battery voltage is too low and the Raspberry Pi system will be shut down. 4. You can use the micro USB to directly power the Raspberry Pi's power USB port. 5. Because the height of the module itself is already high, other modules cannot be stacked on the module 6. Do not over-discharge the lithium battery. Due to the characteristics of the lithium battery, over-discharge will permanently damage the battery

Instructions :

1 Insert the module into the Raspberry Pi GPIO interface to power the Raspberry Pi. The switch on the module can control the power supply of the Raspberry Pi. 2 The module's GPIO plued into the Raspberry Pi is actually powered by the USB Type-A interface. If the module is not plued into the Raspberry Pi GPIO, you can use a USB cable to power the Raspberry Pi from the USB Type-A interface. 3 Warning LED is the battery warning light. At this time, you need to unplug the battery and turn it in one direction before connecting it to the module. Do not connect the charging cable when replacing the battery. There is no power output ar replacing the battery. You need to charge the battery to get the power output. 4. There are 5 power indicator LEDs on the module, which can display the battery power status. 5. Quick Charge LED is a fast charge status indicator. Fast charging is only supported when charging with a charger that supports fast charging. Charging with a normal 5V charger will not work and then fast charging. 6. The battery used for the module is a rechargeable 14500 battery, with a nominal voltage of 3.7V, a full charge of 4.2V, and a discharge voltage of 3V. Note: The module cannot be connected with ordinary non-rechargeable No. 7 battery. 7. The discharge time is directly related to the battery capacity. Use an 800mAh battery to power the Raspberry Pi 3B + for about 50 minutes (the power consumption of the Raspberry Pi 3B + will be higher than that of the Raspberry Pi 3B). 2 ~ 3 hours. (Raspberry Pi under zero load) 8. In theory, the module can be connected to a battery with a larger capacity by welding. Non-profeionals do not recommend unauthorized welding.
