Playbulb Rainbow X3

The Playbulb Rainbow looks like a standard lightbulb, measuring 4.6 by 2.8 by 2.8 inches (HWD) and weighing around half a pound (8.5 ounces). A good deal smaller than the Playbulb Color, the Rainbow has a more conical, sleek shape and, unlike its cousin, it's possible to put a lampshade over it. It's far more likely to comfortably fit into most light fixtures that use a standard E26 or E27 screw socket. With an adapter, it can also fit E40, E14, and B22 sockets.Like the Playbulb Color, the Playbulb Rainbow is covered in a matte white material with a ring of matte brushed silver near the top, below the actual light bulb. The Rainbow's bulb covers more real estate than the Color, which means it gives off more light. But despite the brighter light, the Rainbow is still suitable for atmospheric lighting. In my testing, it was not able to illuminate an entire room. Rather, it provides a colorful accent.
