1. This adapter card only supports 22110 2280 2260 2242 2230 size pciex2 X4 AHCI and nvme protocol m.2 hard disk the SATA protocol certainly does not support! The fixed column is located at 22110 size position during shipment. If you need other positions please consult before purchase or use pliers to pull out the fixed column and move it to the corresponding position after receiving the goods. Note that AHCI is not equal to SATA!
2. This adapter card is a PCIe x16 interface which can be inserted into the pciex16x8 and pciex4 slots but the speed is still running at the speed of pciex4. This product is compatible with PCIe 4.03.02.01.0 but the interface bandwidth is different at different speeds. There are different bandwidth speedometers for reference below.
3. Whether it can be used as a system disk is related to your motherboard and the transfer card. Generally the motherboard with DDR4 memory can support nvme protocol hard disk as the startup disk and some old motherboards can also realize nvme hard disk startup by brushing BIOS.
