Motion Trackers can be used continuously for over 25 hours in compatible games. If used for one hour a day, and auto-sleep is activated when the headset is removed, it can last 3 weeks without charging.
Turn on the Motion Tracker and open the Motion Tracker app on your headset. Click "Pair" to auto-pair or "Calibrate" to recalibrate, and simply follow the guide. The calibration process takes around 5 seconds.
Each Motion Tracker, including the socket, has 12 infrared sensors. The tracker alone carries one 9-axis IMU sensor. While tracking, sensors will track and transmit motion data at a frequency of 200Hz.
In Full-Body Tracking Mode, the Motion Tracker has a latency of approximately 20 milliseconds for motion capture, an average position deviation of 5cm, and an average angular deviation of as low as 6°. The accuracy for detecting and matching stepping actions is no less than 98%.
Full-body motion tracking data can be shared with SteamVR to stream and play motion-sensing games.
