Children use the Hundred Board by placing the wooden chips in sequence on the board, thus reinforcing the sequence of numbers 1 though 100.

 Core Purpose & How it Works

The board consists of a 10x10 blue grid tray and comes with a set of wooden tiles numbered from 1 to 100. It transforms abstract mathematical concepts into a tangible, hands-on experience

The Hundred Board is useful for number recognition, number sequencing, counting, patterning, skip counting and most of all its perfect for just reinforcing the understanding of numbers from 1 to 100. This is a great hands on exercise that focuses on the child knowledge in counting and memorizing the order sequence. The child will develop problem solving skills and independent thinking.

• Sequencing: Children practice placing the wooden tiles in order starting from 1 in the top-left corner all the way to 100 in the bottom-right corner.
• Pattern Recognition: As they fill out rows and columns, children naturally observe how numbers increase predictably by ones horizontally and by tens vertically.
• Self-Correction: It usually includes a "control chart" (a printed key of the numbers 1–100) so the child can independently check their own work without needing an adult to correct them.
