Product details
This fixture is known as the Modern Smoke Glass Orb Pendant Light, a sophisticated contemporary piece that blends mid-century silhouettes with industrial materials.
Dimensions
Fixture Height: Approximately 20 cm (7.8 inches) for the glass shade itself.
Suspension Height: Comes with an adjustable cable, typically up to 150 cm (59 inches), allowing you to customize the drop for kitchen islands or dining tables.
Width/Diameter: The glass orb has a diameter of roughly 30 cm (11.8 inches).
Full Description
This pendant features a dual-layer aesthetic: an outer "translucent smoke" glass shade in a flattened orb shape and an inner cylindrical metal core that houses the light source. The smoke finish provides a moody, sophisticated look that partially reveals the internal structure when illuminated, creating a layered lighting effect. It is suspended by a minimalist black cable and a matching circular ceiling canopy.
Key Features
Hand-Blown Glass: The outer shade is crafted from premium thickened glass with a uniform smoke-grey tint.
Integrated COB LED: Features a high-performance Chip-on-Board (COB) LED light source for a concentrated downlight effect.
Adjustable Hanging Height: The reinforced PVC cable can be shortened during installation to fit various ceiling heights.
Heat Dissipation: The internal metal cylinder is designed to dissipate heat effectively, extending the life of the LED components.
Highlights
Anti-Glare Design: The internal core the light source from direct view, preventing harsh glare and providing comfortable "eyes-free" illumination.
Modern Industrial Aesthetic: The combination of smoked glass and matte black metal creates a versatile look that fits Scandinavian, Loft, and Modern Minimalist decors.
High Transparency: Despite the tint, the high-quality glass ensures excellent light transmission while maintaining its elegant color.
Installation Instructions
Preparation: Turn off the power at the main breaker box.
Bracket Mounting: Fix the metal mounting crossbar to your ceiling junction box using the provided screws.
Cable Adjustment: Thread the cable through the canopy and secure it at your desired length using the plastic cord grip.
Wiring: Connect the house wires to the fixture wires (Live to Live, Neutral to Neutral, Ground to Ground) using wire nuts.
Canopy Attachment: Lift the canopy to the ceiling and tighten the side screws to hide the wiring.
Final Step: Carefully wipe the glass shade with a soft microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints before turning the power back on.
