Connect the Ground wire (usually green or bare copper) to the ground screw on the bracket.

Weatherproofing (For Outdoor Use): Apply a thin bead of silicone caulk around the top and sides of the fixture where it meets the wall to prevent water from entering the junction box. Leave the bottom un-caulked to allow for drainage.
