This is the tool that is needed to remove the rear calipers on the Mk52006-2009 Mk62010-2014 and Mk72015-2018 Golf/Rabbit and Jetta except R32 and R Models they use a 16mm socket
It is also used to remove the front struts from the steering knuckles. It has a 3/8 inch Square Drive and its short lengths allows you to easily reach behind the calipers to loosen and remove the bolts.
If in doubt what size is needed measure the bolt from the one tip to the other as described in the picture and that dimension is the size of the tool that is needed.
