This is a Lontor RB1248B 12V 4.8Ah Sealed Lead-Acid (SLA) Rechargeable Battery primarily used to power rechargeable standing or table fans, small UPS backup systems, solar kits, and security setups. 

Key Technical Specifications

• Voltage & Capacity: 12 Volts (12V) with a capacity rating of 4.8 Ampere-hours (4.8Ah).
• Cycle Use Charging: 14.4V to 15.0V (used when the battery is repeatedly drained and recharged, such as in regular fan operations).
• Standby Use Charging: 13.5V to 13.8V (used when the battery is kept constantly topped up on a trickle charger, like in an alarm system).
• Maximum Charging Current: 1.35 Amperes (1.35A).

Important Usage Cautions

• Avoid Deep Discharges: Leaving the battery completely drained for a prolonged period will permanently degrade its capacity and shorten its lifespan.
• Ventilation: Never charge this battery inside a completely airtight or sealed container.
• Short Circuits: Keep metallic tools away from the two top terminals to prevent dangerous short-circuiting.
• Disposal: Do not throw it in a regular trash bin or incinerate it; it contains lead and must be safely recycled. 

LONTOR lead acid battery is a rechargeable battery that uses lead and sulphuric acid to function. The lead is submerged into the sulphuric acid to allow a controlled chemical reaction. This chemical reaction is what causes the battery to produce electricity. Then, this reaction is reversed to recharge the battery

This 6V sealed lead acid battery is suitable for a wide range of general purpose and industrial applications such as energy storage, alarm systems, emergency power and emergency lighting.
