                                How to Use Aluminum Foil Butyl Waterproof Tape

Clean the Surface: Thoroughly clean the application area to remove dust, dirt, rust, oil, or standing water. Ensure the surface is completely dry before applying for maximum adhesion.

Measure and Cut: Unroll the tape and cut the required length using scissors or a utility knife, leaving a slight overlap beyond the edges of the leak or crack.

Peel the Protective Film: Slowly peel back the protective release film from the bottom of the tape to expose the sticky butyl adhesive layer.

Apply and Press Firmly: Align the tape directly over the leak or joint, pressing down firmly from one end to the other to avoid trapping air bubbles or leaving gaps.
Smooth Out & Seal: Use your hands, a roller, or a flat tool to apply strong, firm pressure across the entire surface, paying extra attention to the edges to ensure a tight, watertight seal.
