languages spoken. However, digital communication
tools have traditionally neglected African languag-
es, creating a barrier to technology adoption and
3.limiting digital inclusion. Indigenius addresses this
issue, empowering Africans to express themselves
seamlessly in their mother tongues.
In addition to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Collective
intelligence (CI) is the bedrock behind Indigenius,
and it refers to the shared knowledge, expertise,
insights, and problem-solving abilities of a group of
individuals working together to achieve a common
goal or address a specific challenge. Due to the
endangered nature of African languages and cul-
ture, the bulk of the data we require resides in the
minds of rural Africans. The fusion of AI and CI is
