The capacity rating is a maximum lifting rating, not permission to lift any load in any position. Safe use depends on a firm level surface, a suitable vehicle lifting point, correctly positioned wheels and stable support after lifting. Always read the jack label and operating instructions before use.

Safe operating procedure

1. Park on firm, level ground, apply the parking brake and chock the wheels that remain on the ground.
2. Check the jack, handle and hydraulic system for damage or leakage before lifting.
3. Place the jack under the manufacturer's approved lifting point and keep the base stable.
4. Raise the load slowly while observing balance and clearance; stop immediately if the vehicle shifts.
5. Use correctly rated axle stands or other approved supports before working beneath a raised vehicle.
6. Lower the load in a controlled manner after the work is complete and store the jack dry.

Important limitations

• Do not exceed the 10-ton rating or use the jack on an unstable, sloped or soft surface.
• Do not place any part of the body under a load supported only by the hydraulic jack.
• Do not use a leaking, damaged or poorly seated jack until it has been inspected or replaced.
• Confirm the lifting height and vehicle clearance suit the intended application.
