Water Wave Wigs Maintenance

1) When you first open the water wave hair lace front wig, please keep the black package net if possible. You can put it on the wig once you take off and it will help maintain the hair.

2) Wig has to be washed and conditioned at least twice a week. After wearing the wig and need to wash it, especially for the water wave hair, please use a dime conditioner to spread on your hands and gently to lay the conditioner on a small bath tangle hair to detangle the hair with your hands, do not use the comb to comb it hardly; after you detangle it, starting from the bottom of the wig, gently comb through the hair with a wide tooth comb.

3) Apply tap cold water onto the water wave wig. Do not use any hot or warm water. Our water wave hair is made without any chemical materials, so using hot/warm water might alter the texture. Take a dime size amount of hair conditioner and apply on the water wave hair. Finger comb the conditioner onto the hair for even distribution. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Do not bunch or scrub it.

4) Rinse the conditioner off the wig with cool water. Water should appear clear after rinsing. Using a clean towel, blot the wig dry. For  hair water wave wigs, hang it upside down, the neck part of the wig facing up. Better to Lay water wave wig flat on the table to keep its curl. Allow the wig to air dry in a cool, dry environment.

Tips: Water wave hair texture requires more hydration than straight hair since it was curled and processed from straight hair.
A light serum and leave-in conditioner will help keep the curls moisturized and tangle-free. Apply mousse to keep the curls looking defined. For detangling or daily maintenance use a wide tooth comb to keep curls nice and bouncy. Avoid using a fine tooth comb for water wave hair since this may cause tangling, excessive shedding or loosing curl. Do not use products that contain sulfate, parabens, alcohol as these will dry out hair and cause tangling and shedding
