Vinpocetine belongs to the class of phosphodiesterase inhibitors that block the action of the enzyme phosphodiesterase (that controls the signalling messengers).COGNITOL 5MG TABLET relaxes blood vessels in the brain and increases blood flow to the brain. It also protects the brain cells (neurons) against injury.COGNITOL 5MG TABLET exhibits a nootropic effect and improves cognitive function. It is also used as a dietary supplement and has anti-oxidant activity against free radicals (toxins) in the body.
