There are two types of TPMS syst: direct TPMS and indirectTPMS.

A:Direct TPMS syst use TPMS inside the wheel to report preure data to the vehicle's ECU in real time.

2: IndirectTPMS system uses an ABS system to monitor the speed of the wheel and communicate to the ECU.

When the tires are underinflated , the tire radius become smaller , wheel speed become higher , when the tires are overinflated , tire radius become larger at the same time wheel speed become lower .The Car get the ABS data , once tire underinflated , it result to abnormal data , then monitor alarm .
