Precautions for blood pressure measurement:

Measurement method:

2. Ask participants to sit at a table with their left arm resting comfortably on the table.
3. Adjust the arm to the same height as the heart. If the height is not high enough, cushion can be added under the arm.
4. 5. Insert the head of the stethoscope into the armband and place it on the brachial artery at the elbow.
6. Use the latex ball to pump slowly into the arm band, pay attention to monitoring, and raise the pressure by 2.5 kpa-4kpa (20mmhg-30mmhg) after the brachial artery pulse disappears.
7. After the pressure stops, slowly release air from the armband at the speed of 0.3kpa-0.6kpa (2mmhg-4mmhg) per second, gradually lowering the blood pressure gauge needle.
8. Systolic pressure is the pressure indicated by the needle when pulsing sound is heard through the stethoscope during the descent.
9. When the pulse is gradually increased into a murmur, then tone suddenly dull, gradually disappear, when the sound is not heard, that is diastolic blood pressure.
