The button hole foot is a sewing machine snap on presser foot which simply clips onto the machine. It is fitted with button size guard to enable make exact length of hole for various size of button.
It is also fitted with stop guide to switch the sewing machine sensor to forward stitch and backward stitch.

Insert the foot and bring down your button hole switch and follow the steps according to your sewing machine manual.
Insert your button at the button hole adjuster on the foot to set the length of hole to suitable for the button

For FOUR STEP button hole:

Mark out the length of the button hole to be made on your fabric
Mount the button hole foot unto your machine
Start your stitch depending on the setting on your machine and as stated in your machine manual. In most cases, you start with either left or right, then back, then other side left or right and lastly front.
