Why Choose This Model?
Because of its compact size, ease of use, versatile unit options and decent accuracy, the GM816 represents great value whether you’re a hobbyist, technician or outdoor enthusiast. It combines both wind-speed and temperature measurement in one handy device, which can simplify your workflow.
Usage Tips:
Hold or place the rotor vane directly in the airflow, ensuring the airflow direction aligns with the rotor for accurate measurement.
For best accuracy, avoid obstructing the airflow or swirling it near hands or objects.
If measuring outdoors, aim the sensor toward the oncoming wind, not sideways.
Use the “MAX” or “AVG” modes to capture peak gusts or averaged flow conditions.
Keep the battery fresh (and removed if storing for long periods) to maintain consistent performance.
Ideal For:
HVAC/ventilation checks
Outdoor sports (kitesurfing, windsurfing, paragliding)
Drone/RC flight preparation
Weather station or field-research use
Industrial or lab airflow/ventilation verification
