*1. Mouthpiece*: Black ebonite/plastic mouthpiece for alto sax. This is what you blow into. The shape and chamber affect your tone.
*2. Ligature*: Gold-colored metal ligature with 2 screws. Holds the reed tightly against the mouthpiece. Brass/gold-plated ones give a brighter, louder sound than fabric or plastic.
*3. Cap*: Black plastic mouthpiece cap. Protects the reed and tip when you’re not playing. The cutout helps it clip on.
*4. Reed*: Cane reed, strength 2.5, already mounted. Standard for beginners to intermediate players.
*Use*: Starter or replacement set for alto sax players. Good for church, school band, or practice. The metal ligature gives more projection than the cheap 2-screw wire ones.
