How to Apply for a Permanent Seal

Clean the surface: Remove all dirt, rust, moisture, and grease. The surface must be completely dry for the adhesive to bond
Measure and cut: Cut the tape to a length that extends at least 2 to 3 inches beyond the leak area in all directions. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Heat the adhesive (Optional): Gently warm the adhesive side with a hair dryer before peeling off the backing to activate a stronger bond
Apply and press: Peel off the backing, place the tape over the leak, and firmly press down. Use a hard roller or a cloth to work out any air bubbles
