How to know if your or usb type c adapter is fits for your laptop?

You can checkthe specification on the bottom of your laptop, there you can see the laptop input,such as "19V 3.42A 65W",then you can use 65w(or higher) or usb c adapter to charge it. If you only has 18W, it will does not work.

Why can't cell phone chargers/s be used to charge laptops?

First, they usually only support phone charging, not laptop charging

Second, their output voltages and currents are usually very low and do not support laptop-powered

A USB port equipped with an electrical outlet cannot be used to charge the laptop.
