Installation Instructions.
NOTE: Install the relay under the hood to allow for the fan.
CAUTION: Do not use PTFE tape or string connections on the thermal controller or adapter. For proper operation, the thermostat must be grounded to the engine with the threads grounded to the engine.
Install the thermostat into the head or intake manifold. Connect the black wire to the thermostat, cut to length. Press the red terminal onto the black wire and connect to the thermostat.
Connect the red wire to the fan + terminal or power cord from the print to the motor of the electric fan.
Install the circuit breaker in a convenient location as close as possible to the power source used for the fan relay (battery or large terminal on the starter appliance).
Use the small yellow ring end to cut the length and install. Using the other small yellow ring terminal, you can connect the remaining red wire and connect the unused post on the circuit breaker to the battery source.
This wire is printed on the battery / standing heat.
Connect the brown wire to the ignition switch or fan switch, whichever is more convenient.
