How it's Used:
In the past, many televisions had a limited number of AV input ports. With the rise of multiple game consoles (like older PlayStations, Nintendo 64, original Xbox), VCRs, DVD players, and other AV devices, users often ran out of places to plug everything in.
This AV selector solves that problem:
Connect Devices to Inputs: You would connect the composite video and stereo audio outputs from your various devices (e.g., PS2, N64, DVD player) to the "IN 1," "IN 2," and "IN 3" ports on the selector.
Connect Selector to TV: You would then connect the "OUT" ports of the selector to the single set of composite video and stereo audio input ports on your television.
