SAFETY NOTE

3. Draw the knife blade through the slots in one direction only (from heel to tip); never push the blade back and forth.

GUIDE TO PROPER USAGE

1. Place the sharpener securely on a stable kitchen countertop.
2. Insert the heel of the dull knife blade into Slot 1 (Diamond/Coarse) and pull backward towards yourself with light downward pressure 3 to 5 times.
3. Move the blade to Slot 2 (Tungsten/Medium) and repeat the backward pulling motion to re-establish the sharp V-shape edge.
4. Pass the blade through Slot 3 (Ceramic/Fine) 3 to 5 times to hone, remove burrs, and polish the edge to a smooth finish.
5. Wipe the sharpened knife blade with a dry cloth or wash with water before using it for food preparation.
