Instructions:
1. Be careful when opening the Big Tall Monarch Butterfly Tents - after removing the elastic strap around the circle the cube cage may open unexpectedly so make sure you have plenty of space and no breakable objects nearby.
2. After opening your mesh cage the PVC side will be wrinkled due to folding. Remove the wrinkles quickly by drying the PVC with a hair dryer for about 5 minutes or place the PVC towards the warm sun to relax the wrinkles.
3. Always close the cage door so that the zippers meet at the TOP CENTER. If a caterpillar is somewhere on the zipper this will allow you to zip the other side open.
4. Clean the mesh cage after an outbreak or at the end of the season by soaking it in a 5% bleach solution (19 parts water to 1 part bleach) for about 20 minutes. The cage can be soaked in a bathtub or laundry tub.
5. Rinse your butterfly garden with water and then let it dry in the sun - hang it on a clothesline or place a rock on the ground so it doesn't blow away.
6. When folding the cage for storage place your hands on the opposite top corners of the cage and press down on one corner to fold the cage flat.
7. Store the cage flat in a cupboard under a bed behind a sofa etc.
