Piezoelectric ceramic buzzer is a kind of device used in piezoelectric ceramics. The more common one is to use zirconium,Titanium and piezoelectric ceramic chips (pzt) made by sintering lead oxides are most sensitive to 3khz audio signals,so the resonant frequency of the buzzer is usually designed to be around 3khz during production. In order to improve the low frequency response,a dual diaphragm structure is generally used.
working principle: When voltage is applied to piezoelectric ceramics,it will produce mechanical deformation with changes in voltage and frequency. On the other hand,when the piezoelectric ceramic is vibrated,an electric charge is generated. Using this principle,when an electrical signal is applied to a vibrator composed of two piezoelectric ceramics or a piezoelectric ceramic and a metal sheet,the so-called bimorph Elements,ultrasonic waves will be emitted due to bending vibration. On the contrary,when ultrasonic vibration is applied to the piezoelectric bimorph Elements,an electrical signal is generated. Based on the above effects,piezoelectric ceramics can be used as ultrasonic sensors.
