1Kg Car Vehicle Safety Emergency Fire Extinguisher

Keep a practical emergency safety item in a vehicle with this 1Kg Car Vehicle Safety Emergency Fire Extinguisher. The red portable cylinder is sized for convenient vehicle storage and can form part of a broader roadside safety kit when mounted securely and kept accessible.

The exact extinguishing agent, fire rating, operating pressure and approved fire classes must be taken from the cylinder label and supplied instructions. Do not rely on a generic description for a technical safety rating. Inspect the unit regularly and replace it if the seal, body, hose or pressure indicator shows damage or an out-of-service condition.

Storage and inspection

1. Secure the extinguisher upright in a suitable holder or location where it cannot become a loose projectile.
2. Keep the handle and operating instructions accessible and avoid placing heavy items on the cylinder.
3. Check the body, pin or seal and pressure indicator where fitted according to the product instructions.
4. Keep away from prolonged heat, direct sun, corrosive liquids and unauthorised handling.
5. Replace or service the unit according to the label, inspection schedule and applicable guidance.

Emergency use

• Raise the alarm, stop the vehicle safely and move people away from danger first.
• Use the extinguisher only when the fire is small, an escape route is available and the operator is trained.
• Stand at a safe distance and follow the operating steps printed on the cylinder.
• Leave immediately if the fire grows, smoke becomes heavy or the extinguisher is not effective, then contact emergency services.
