It’s functional for once in a while workout, it sticks to a smooth ground well - if you find that it doesn’t stick well, sprinkle a bit of water on the surface that comes in contact with the ground and the grip will be better. If you have a regular workout lifestyle that calls for daily use of a mat, I will not recommend. It begins to shed after 1-2 months of consistent use. When you sweat and your body comes in contact with the mat, it becomes somewhat slippery. It’s fashionable and functional but not rugged .
