The gauge is used to measure the thickness of metal plating and coatings such as paint/enamel/chrome on steel, paint and anodic oxide coatings on aluminum/copper. Automatically detects the attributes of the substrate. It can be used to non-destructively measure the thickness of coatings and paints. It is an essential equipment for material surface and is widely used in manufacturing, metal processing industry, chemical industry, commercial inspection, etc. It can also work stably in the laboratory, workshop and outdoors.
Features:
Easy Operation: Built-in magnetic induction and vortex double principle probe, can automatically identify the measured metal substrate, only need to be placed on the measured surface, can automatically calculate the thickness of the coating.
Digital LCD Display: Digital display with backlight, support statistical data display, average, minimum, maximum and number. This instrument supports up to 50 data to carry on the statistics, when reaches 50, the latest data will replace the oldest data, the statistical value will be updated automatically.
Three Probe Modes: With three probe modes of automatic (AUTO) mode, magnetic induction (F) mode and vortex (NFE) mode, you can switch depending on your needs.
Unit Switching Function: Press to switch the units between um micron, mm mm and Mill mils.
Zeroing Calibration & Multi-point Calibration: In order to improve the test accuracy, it is suggested that the instrument should be calibrated. With multi-point calibration function and self-calibration function to ensure higher accuracy.
Multifunctional Design: Equipped with battery indicating and automatic shutoff function. Support open and close backlight, support clear the statistics.
Standard Aluminum: Comes with aluminum sheet and 6pcs calibration films, with different thickness of 0.05mm, 0.25mm, 0.10mm, 0.50mm, 1.00mm and 2.00mm to meet your demands.
Measurement Object: The tester is used for non-destructive measurement of coating and paint thickness, and accurate. It is used to measure the thickness of plated and coated plates on metals such as paint/chrome on steel, paint and anodic oxide coatings on aluminum/copper.
