The G-Shock GMW-B5000GD-9 is a luxury-tier, full-metal tribute to the original 1983 G-Shock square (the DW-5000C). This model is characterized by its high-shine, gold ion-plated stainless steel construction, which covers the entire case and solid-link bracelet. Despite its flashy exterior, it maintains "Absolute Toughness" through a sophisticated shock-resistant structure that uses fine-resin cushioning between the steel bezel and the inner case.
Technologically, this is one of the most advanced models in the 5000 series. It features a high-contrast STN-LCD (Super-Twisted Nematic) display for better legibility at sharp angles and Tough Solar power for continuous charging via any light source. The watch is equipped with "Bluetooth Smartphone Link" and "Multi-Band 6" atomic timekeeping, ensuring the time is always perfectly accurate regardless of your location. The case back is a premium screw-lock design with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating for exceptional wear resistance
