The GA-V01-2A is an oversized, high-impact analog-digital watch in a blue-purple colorway, featuring a bold, innovative design and an approximately 10-year battery life. This model introduces new shock-resistant hand technology, combining G-SHOCK's signature toughness with a striking aesthetic. 

Core Design & Aesthetics

• Oversized Design: The watch has a large, imposing presence with a case size of 49.1 × 58.2 × 19.6 mm, featuring sharply defined edges and an organic form.
• Integrated Construction: The center case protecting the module is covered by an exterior part that uses an integrated bezel and band construction. Large, dimensional indices overlap the glass, serving as bumpers to absorb shocks.
• Unique Dial: It features a layered analog-digital combination face with a full-screen LCD and a metallic dial with openwork. The dial color is a distinct blue-purple.
• Spherical Glass: The use of spherical mineral glass gives the watch a unique look. 

Durability & Technology

• Shock Release Hand: developed a new magnetic holding structure where the minute hand is attached using magnetic force. This allows the hand to absorb and dissipate impacts effectively, returning to its correct position within a few minutes after a strong impact.
