--Compatible with most Ford cars made between 1988~1995.
(On Board Diagnostics - OBD has a very long history. The 7 pin OBD1 connector was used on cars made between 1980~1995. But only part of the OBD1 systems became OBD2 starndard. We can use OBD2 tools on those OBD1 cars got a OBD1 system which is part of OBD2 standard. )
--Ford trucks and pickups are not supported.
--One end for the 7 pin OBD1 connector on a Ford car, the other end for a 16 pin OBD2 diagnostic tool.
