In 2018, introduces the new edition of Sauvage, originally launched in 2015, in an Eau de Parfum interpretation. Dio n-house perfumer François Demachy imagines the Eau de Parfum as revealing new facets of Sauvage. The composition with oriental and vanilla facets is described as enveloping, suave, mysterious and sensual.
A radically fresh composition, dictated by a name that has the ring of a manifesto. That was the way François Demachy, Dio Perfumer-Creator, wanted it: raw and noble all at once. “To create Sauvage, I used man as my starting point. A strong and unmistakable masculinity. Like the image of a man who transcends time and fashion.” Natural ingredients, selected with extreme care, prevail in excessive doses. Radiant top notes burst with the juicy freshness of Reggio di Calabria Bergamot. Ambroxan, derived from precious ambergris, unleashes a powerfully woody trail. Sauvage is an act of creation inspired by wide-open spaces. An ozone blue sky sprawled above a rocky landscape, white-hot beneath the desert sun.
