Lemongrass Oil is an essential oil extracted from the dried lemongrass plant. It has antibacterial, anti fungal as well as anti-inflamatory properties. It helps limit microbacterial growth on the skin, and minimizes pores. It may help fight dandruff when added to shampoo, preliminary researchers suggests that lemongrass may help reduce headaches. It has some medicinal benefits, tones the skin, rules out cellulite, unclogs pores and treats acne. Lemongrass oil is known to help fight agaist free radicals and oxidative stress in the body, which helps reduce the signs of agging and risk of several diseases.
