Here’s how to use Dylon fresh orange   fabric dye for best results:

What You'll Need:

Dylon fresh orange   fabric dye pod (suitable for machine dyeing)

Washing machine

500g of salt (if using hand dyeing method)

Clean fabric (cotton, linen, or viscose works best)

For Machine Dyeing:

1. Prepare the Fabric:
Wash your fabric to remove stains or finishes but do not dry it. Wet fabric absorbs dye better.

2. Set Up the Dye:
Remove the outer packaging of the dye pod and peel off the lid. Place the pod upright directly into the drum of the washing machine.

3. Dye Your Fabric:
Place the damp fabric in the machine and set a 40°C cycle (no prewash). Ensure it's a cotton cycle for even coloring.

4. Rinse and Wash Again:
Once the cycle is done, leave the fabric in the machine. Run another 40°C cycle with detergent to remove any excess dye.

5. Dry Naturally:
Hang your fabric to air dry, avoiding direct sunlight to maintain the color intensity.

1. Dissolve Dye and Salt:
Dissolve the fabric dye in warm water, and stir in 500g of salt.

2. Immerse Fabric:
Place the pre-washed, damp fabric in the dye solution. Stir continuously for 15 minutes, then stir regularly for 45 minutes.

3. Rinse and Wash:
Rinse the fabric in cold water until the water runs clear, then wash it separately in warm water with detergent.

4. Dry Naturally:
Allow the fabric to air dry.
