Doppelherz® aktiv Calciovin Liquid is an easy to swallow, great tasting liquid Ca formula which has been designed for children, adults and the elderly.
Calciovin Liquid is intended for people requiring higher intakes of minerals and vitamins essential in order to support bone formation and maintenance.
Ca, Magnesium, Manganese, Zinc, Vitamin D3 and Vitamin C play an important role in teeth and bone health.
Adequate Ca intake is required to support bone growth during childhood and bone maintenance during adulthood. Adults might be at risk for osteoporosis due to dietary Ca deficit. Intake of Vitamin D3 promotes Ca absorption and its incorporation into the bones. Magnesium participates in the constitution of the bone matrix and therefore plays a structural role essential for teeth and bones strength.
One of the roles of Vitamin C is to enable collagen synthesis which is required to build the frame of the bone matrix. Formation of this collagen frame is stimulated by Zinc.
