Your Andrew James Breadmaker boasts 17 different functions so you can delight in a variety of freshly baked bread in the comfort of your own home. But you are not just limited to bread with this versatile machine. You can easily make cake, yoghurt, jam, and chutneys just to name a few.
For making yoghurt, you will need: 350ml Long-Life Milk, 50ml Natural Yoghurt, 3 Tbsp. Sugar
The default setting of the bread maker is 8 hours, however to achieve the firm consistency of a pouring yoghurt, it is recommended to manually increase the time of the appliance to 12 hours. Alternatively, for a thicker consistency, use the default time setting of the yoghurt maker, but add milk powder.
You can also make delicious homemade jams and chutneys. You’ll need: 300g Strawberries, 300g Jam Sugar, Juice from 1 Lemon
If you want to use frozen fruit, thaw completely before use. Crush the berries with a fork or potato masher. Make sure that the strawberries are not pureed. Put the berries and sugar into the pan of the machine. Select the jam programme and start it. Do not alter the ingredient quantities as they will not set correctly.
• Delay Timer & Keep-Warm Function
Use the 15-hour delay timer to pick your start time so you can enjoy freshly baked bread first thing in the morning. There is also a 60-minute keep-warm function for your convenience.
Cook your perfect loaf using the 17 pre-programmed cycles, including 1 for sourdough and gluten-free bread. The soft-touch buttons are easy to use and the backlit LCD display shows the programme you are on and how long is left.
Fill the dispenser before starting your bake and they will be automatically added to your dough at the right point in the cycle. Creating flavoursome bread has never been easier as there is no need to interrupt the process to add ingredients. The viewing window also makes it easy to check how your bread is doing.
Do not open the bread maker during operation as the baking process will be affected. We have included a viewing window and an internal light so you can keep an eye on your bread without having to open the bread machine.
