I got this as a replacement for my mifi whose battery was already degrading. Network signal can be really poor, wi-fi connection drops abruptly and then just connects as a regular modem, which can be painfully slow. I have to switch to mifi if I don't have the patience at that time. Frustrating, but the purchase is done
