Not what I expected

This isn’t truly a gigabit router, even though “1200 Mbps” is written all over the box. Don’t be fooled by the number. The 1200 Mbps refers only to combined Wi-Fi bandwidth under ideal conditions, not the wired LAN ports. In reality, the LAN ports max out at 100 Mbps. That’s the absolute ceiling you’ll ever see on a wired connection. I bought this to extend my Starlink Mini indoors using a Cat6e cable, and the results were disappointing. While Starlink itself pushes 200-300 Mbps, this router consistently capped out around 40-90 Mbps on Ethernet. The only time I saw slightly better performance was in wireless repeater mode, where it managed about 110 Mbps at best. If your needs are light basic browsing, streaming movies, casual use this router is passable. But if you’re expecting to take advantage of high-speed internet, it will absolutely hold you back. I really wish sellers would be more upfront about these limitations so buyers don’t waste time troubleshooting a “problem” that’s actually just hardware design.
