Sending (writing) to the Hard drive is fast and efficient, but the problem is copying (reading) from the hard drive. When reading, the speed drops to zero and the hard drive becomes unusable.
Works as described. The absence of incorporated software which was meant to be a minus, seems to even be a major plus, as it makes it very simple to use.
Been using it for nearly 5 months. Reaches 90-100mb/s transfer speeds. Crazy. A great buy. Don't hesitate. It's also durable, but since it's an hard drive with moving internal parts treat it with care. As long as you do, you're definitely okay.
It's been working perfectly so far
It works exactly how I hoped it would, transfer speed is just right.
