It's okay, but if you can afford to buy a better freezer, do. I use it with a 1.7kva inverter. It works. The compressor consumes a lot of energy on startup because I can only afford to have it on for 12 hours a day. If you put if off for a day, everything inside would defrost. It's better to have it on 24/7. Can be better.
