One thing about electronics is the mode of operation and manner which you use them. This blender has been working fine since I bought it more than a month ago and it is still doing well, blending tomatoes only. I have not tried it with hard grains or dried stuffs. I take it slow and steady and do not leave it grinding for longer seconds. 5 - 8 seconds maximum with the lowest speed gradually increasing to high speed if I wish. This is how it has been lasting for me. So, it depends on your reason for purchase and mode of operation. Enjoy your product as much as it last in your hands.
