Not the machine it looks to be

There is something fundamentally wrong with this computer and I cannot quite place it. With these specs, I thought i was getting a monster machine. 16GB RAM, 2.6GHz RYZEN 3 processor and 1TB of storage looked seriously capable. I couldn't think of anything I did with a computer that would discomfit this laptop based on those specs. It handled the easy stuff without any trouble; word processing, designing with Canva, playing media, these were all a breeze. But then I had to install Photoshop and received the shock of my life. My monster machine couldn't run Photoshop. I could not believe my eyes. I went to check the system requirements for running Adobe Creative Suite and found that my specs were effectively double the requirements, yet I couldn't run the software. Note that I had not installed anything on the computer besides Adobe Creative Suite. Everything else was factory installed. Up until now, I cannot run Photoshop on this supposedly high end laptop. I was excited at getting it at such an 'affordable' price; a friend was in sheer disbelief when he learned how much I bought it for. He was immediately skeptical, saying you get what you pay for. But being that by default he is a skeptic, I thought he was just being himself. But it seems that price should have been a dead giveaway that all is not right with this computer, regardless of the specs. If you are a light user, you can buy this computer. But if you plan on doing any heavy lifting, like Adobe Creative Suite, Gaming or Animation, please avoid this laptop like the plague. It will embarrass you at a crucial time.
