Awesome Investment

So, the Hithium HeroEE2 has been performing well. I got it on Nov 24, 2025. It charges impressively fast with AC (2h or less) and takes longer with PV charging (about 5–7+ hrs depending on sun intensity). I’m using a monoCrys 450W panel with it. However, I have two complaints: 1. The product description claims there is an Hithium App that works with this product. That is not true. After hours of research, I discovered that the common Hithium EE2 sold in Nigeria does not have IoT ???? capability. Appears that EE2 version that supports IoT has a punch-hole hexagonal ventilation design at the sides, while this one has straight ventilation lines arranged in two columns. Also, the AC/PV input layout differs. The common Nigerian version (no IoT) has AC input—Overload button—PV input, while the IoT version has AC input—PV input—Overload button arrangement. Also, I searched endlessly online and found no app called “Hithium App.” Even Hithium’s contact-person in Nigeria confirmed that there's no app. This looks like false advertising. That line should be removed, as it was one of the reasons I chose this over another brand. I was disappointed to discover it has no app feature at all. 2. I noticed that once my own Hithium EE2 reaches 80%, the battery percentage suddenly climbs very fast and shows 100% within about 3 minutes. Will be contacting the post purchase service again for further look. This may be unique to my unit or common across the model, but lithium-ion batteries should normally charge slower nearing 100% SoC. Overall, this is a sophisticated gadget, hence, the reason for the 5 ⭐. Thanks.
