The curling iron works very well. The heat is strong and it curls both my natural hair and wigs. It also straightens hair. I used it to do my natural pixie as well and it works perfectly.
curls are bigger than pencil size. the heating is good. it gets hot. but I expected small tight pencil-sized curls, but the size of the curler part is bigger than what the picture looks like. and only the inside with the small flattening plates are hot. around the outside does not get hot, so the hair curled around it is a bit loose ad frizzy, not small or tight or smooth. this product works best as a straightener. if curls are sought, they will be big, loose, fluffy curls.
