Not great for short 4c hair

Based on the instructions on the manual, one ought to use the brush in an upward direction. It seems okay at first but for someone with a very thick, tight-curled short 4c hair, it made some of the bristles bend out of shape even after detangling my hair with a comb. Secondly, it more difficult to use for 4c hair because it is stated on the manual that it is meant for clean dry hair. It means there should be no product applied on the hair before using this equipment. When I tried it, it made the hair shrink and the ceramic coating began to melt. Obviously, that's not a good sign. If not for the bristles or the melting of the ceramic coating, it would have been a great buy. People with long fine hair, may not have this problem.
