perfect
I love that it can balance on its own without rolling over, and I must say it doesn't have a bad smell. It does have a rubber smell, but it's not that bad. It's not a constant smell. It's just perfect. Go ahead and buy it, you won't regret it.

As seen but with an unpleasant smell
The dumbbell is definitely heavier and maybe also bigger than it looks. It's not a cute dumbbell if that's what you're looking to get, but all in all, it's the right weight. However, it comes with a strong rubber-like smell that may irritate your nostrils and should especially be away from children. I currently still use mine with the wrapping nylon around it to minimise the smell. P.S. Note that your dumbbell may roll around a bit
